I don’t know about you, but I get a little excited when I hear about new restaurants opening up around here, simply because I get tired of the same old choices all the time, so when I noticed a little buzz on twitter the other day, I decided to check it out.
To my great pleasure, the rumors appear to be true. According to the FIVE GUYS website, they have a location “Coming Soon” at 19th St & Telephone Road.
Now, I typically prefer locally-owned restaurants, but chains aren’t always bad and I personally haven’t experienced Five Guys’ yet. However, several of my friends rave about it, and the online ordering option looks cool. What are your thoughts? Have you tried Five Guys Burgers & Fries?

cool! have tried Five Guys on numerous occasions, many locations all over the country…good eating, even my beautiful wife who seldom eats meat loves the FiveGuys grilled cheese and the fries, yes, especially the cajun fries will eat and they do not skimp on the portions…projected open date?
Steve, thanks for your input. I’m looking forward to trying it myself. I haven’t yet seen a projected open date, but I’ll definitely post it here when I hear more.
for me it’s the little bacon burger (one patty) with lettuce, ketchup and mustard, and regular fries. i beg of you, never order a large order of fries. the regular order basically gets poured into the bottom of a brown paper bag, and there are more there than you can consume in a day. 🙂 the only thing that would make it better would be if they toasted their buns. (im not a fan of soft bread).

I've been to multiple locations in multiple states, always consistent so far and a good stop for a good burger for decent price…
