I was sold on Iguana as soon as I heard that they have good margaritas and over 130 varieties of tequila. A little overwhelming, but awesome. The same could be said for the foodselection… so many choices! The chicken and steak fajitas I had were absolutely amazing, and my side of mixed veggies was not only cooked perfectly, but also was enough veggies to constitute of a meal on its own!
Originally a small and casual restaurant in Nichols Hills, the new Iguana location on 9th St has exploded in popularity. It’s definitely easy to see why; Iguana has a cool, almost artsy decor that makes it obvious it’s “the place to be”.
Iguana is open until 10 on weeknights and 11 on weekends, but they let you know on their website that “if you find yourself running late, call ahead and we will keep the kitchen open”. How can you not love this place? When I return, I’m going to make sure its on a Taco Tuesday…$1 tacos from 4 until closing!
