OATH Fundraiser at Humble Pie This Tuesday!

We’re excited today to have a guest post from our friend, Lori Ford (@lofolulu), promoting a fundraiser that’s near and dear to our heart. Please get involved with OATH any way that you’re able!

How can you protect fellow Oklahomans from child sex trafficking, child porn, and modern-day slavery in Oklahoma? Buy Pizza from Humble Pie, the best pizzeria in Oklahoma, this Tuesday night.

Oklahomans Against the Trafficking of Humans

Humble Pie is hosting a fundraiser for Oklahomans Against Trafficking Humans (OATH) on Tuesday, April 17th from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at 1317 S. Broadway in Edmond. Choose either Chicago Style or New York Style Pizza and Humble Pie will donate 20% of dine-in sales and to-go orders to OATH.

Did you know that human trafficking is the second largest illegal industry and the fastest growing illegal industry in the U.S.? Already, Oklahoma ranks as a top five state for human trafficking hotspots. Human trafficking includes child-sex trafficking, adult-sex trafficking, child porn, and modern-day slavery. Support OATH and protect
our children and adults from the scandalous human trafficking gangs and pimps
!

Carrie Corbin and I are supporting this event by waiting tables and donating the tips. IF you are unable to attend this event, we are collecting tax-deductible “virtual waitress tips” at the OATH webite. We appreciate any donation, large or small.

In closing, I want to show my appreciation to Ryan Hukill for spreading word about this event and for donating this blog post in support of OATH. In my opinion, he is a great asset to this city.

Ryan, I am filled with gratitude that you shared my post with your readers. Human trafficking is a nasty topic but many people do not know it is a thriving industry here in Oklahoma. I pray that Oklahomans will fight to make Oklahoma a safer place. God bless you and your family!
