BIG THANKS to My Supporters and Fans!

As most everyone who knows me is already aware, it’s been a busy few weeks since I was nominated as one of the candidates for today’s election of the 2010 OKCMAR Board of Directors. If you weren’t aware, you probably wondered why this blog’s been so unusually quiet lately.

Either way, I wanted to send out a special Thank You to everyone who played a part in my nomination, my campaign, those who voted for me, and everyone who’s been in touch this afternoon to congratulate me on being elected!

Yes, you read it right, I, along with Bill Bateman, Gigi Faulkner, Barbara Harris, Jennifer Johnson, and Mike Malone, have been elected to the 2010 OKCMAR BOD.

I’m very excited to serve our membership and represent the growing number of members who recognize the massive changes occurring in our industry and the direction that our association has to go to keep up with those changes.

Additionally, an EXTRA SPECIAL THANKS goes out to Sarah Del Valle, Stephanie McKinney, and Andi Bytyqi for all of the time and work they volunteered in creating and managing my campaign.

Just for fun, here’s a video we did during the process:

  1. Awesome! Congratulations :o)

OMG, that video was soooo funny! I remember when my parents went looking for houses when I was a kid. This crusty old lady that smoked too much, pawed through this gigantic book with newsprint stained fingers for hours, while my parents sat in badly upholstered chairs pointing out homes with good “curb” appeal.

I am so thankful for the “additional photos” feature of the MLS now. It eliminates about 75% of my viewing pleasure :o)
